I stopped by Pangea Global Kitchen today and let me just say, WOW! I tried their Musakhan rolls and shawarma sandwich, and both were absolutely phenomenal. But let’s talk about that shawarma sandwich for a second… because that was next-level !!! I’ve had a lot of shawarma sandwiches in my day, from hole-in-the-wall spots to the well-known staples, and I can honestly say—this is the best shawarma sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, the wrap was soft but had a nice crisp, and their garlic sauce? Perfection. It had just the right balance—not too overpowering, not too bland. Just right. My 18-month-old daughter couldn’t get enough—she kept reaching for more bites, which is This place is a game-changer, and I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu. Pangea Global Kitchen, you’ve got a loyal customer for life!

First time here, picked up preordered special of cabbage roll dinner and it was fantastic! The dinner portions were good, 2 large cabbage rolls, 2 containers of sauce and 2 nice fresh salads. Food was delicious, staff was delightful, place smelled heavenly and was nice and clean. Will definitely be back!
I don’t know why it took me so long to check this place out! The workers were so nice and even offered samples! Service is fast, the food slaps, and the cost is on par with Panera for food that is clearly made with heart. I’ll definitely be adding this into rotation.
Worth the trip to Pangea! Everything was very fresh and delicious. We ordered the lasagna, tabouli, butter chicken and musakhan rolls! The lasagna was flavorful and anything but boring. Butter chicken was delicious, Tabouli fresh and my 7 year old loved the musakhan rolls. Thank you for a great experience and friendly service.
Ok, my wife and I have eaten at a lot of “middle eastern” food at pretty much all of the restaurants within a 10 mile radius of Grosse Pointe. With that said, each of the recipes are so different even though you see the same items on all of the menus. Our typical order would be hummus, grape leaves, tabouleh, and falafel. I was told by the owner that Pangea uses a family Jordanian recipe on these dishes. We ordered these items tonight and they were absolutely fantastic!! There was no overpowering of spices or garlic, but just the right amount of flavor making our experience fantastic. Ingredients were fresh and the quantity and price very reasonable as well. The open kitchen is super clean and the staff very friendly. I usually don’t leave a positive or negative review on my dining experiences, but I had to with Pangea. Thank you for caring about the food you prepared for us. Can’t wait to try additional menu items.
Pangea catered our daughter’s 3rd birthday party this weekend and I only have positive things to say about the experience! I communicated with Steve throughout the entire process and appreciate how informative and communicative he was. We got the deconstructed chicken shawarma, which came with rice, sauces and pickles; pita and chips with hummus, fattoush salad, vegetarian grape leaves, musakhan and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious and so flavorful! We got so many compliments on all of it. The standout for me was the musakhan. I had never had it before but will not be leaving without it when we frequent there again, it was wonderful. Food was kid friendly too 😊 We’re so glad Pangea is part of the community and look forward to continuing to enjoy their delicious food. Thank you, Pangea for the wonderful experience!
We had Pangea cater for my daughter's Baptism and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food and experience. Steve was so helpful with the ordering process and allowing me to sample several different offerings. They very kindly allowed us to pick up our order on a Sunday too, even though they are typically closed. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma, Lamb Kofta, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Tomato Kibbee, Meat and Veggie Grape Leaves, Musakhan Rolls, Fattoush Salad and Pita Chips - everything was delicious and our guests had so many compliments. We will definitely be back!
This is a don't -sleep-on-it spot for sure. Cute and clean space inside. Staff are so wonderful and friendly and clearly care about the food. Online ordering for carry out is easy too. Chicken shawarma is absolutely amazing. Sicilian lasagna astounding and made fresh every day (sooooo good!). Falafel are PERFECT. Fattoush salad and their homemade dressing were fresh jumping with flavor. Really impressed by everything we ate and can't wait to go back and try the chicken Mushakhan. Also their garlic sauce is unique and not so much lard, more of a yogurt base, still great. Their baklava were delicious too. Will definitely be trying everything from their menu! 🥰🍽️🇯🇴
